King 3B Silversonic H.N. White Era 1960 SN 373685 Super Nice Original. Is all original parts and lacquer. Beautiful 8" Sterling Silver Bell with gold plated inner bell, .508 bore standard 3B nickel silver slide with yellow brass end crook. It just goes to show that when you make a great horn with the right materials and excellent craftsmanship, they are made to last. This one over 60 years old, still looks great, is without any issues, and plays fantastic. We did full shop service here including chemical bath and once over. No dents or dings. Handslide is like glass, without tension, no inner slide tube defects. A few things that I have noticed over the years about the early 3B makes like this one- the brass tuning crook has more length. The inner handslide has a heavier gauge tube alloy compared to the modern make 3B's. The new 3B legend series made today is priced at $4787, and that does not include gold plated inner bell. King 3B's made today are replicas of this classic from 1960. Why pay more for a new one? This is the real thing. Includes original coffin style case.
