Was made within the last couple of years in Elkhorn, WI. Getzen is the same company that makes Edwards Custom Trombones and is one of the top manufacturers for Trombones in the United States. We like this model a lot. Is great for all around Bass use, Band, Orchestra, Jazz, Studio. Rose Brass Bells Have a dark sound, less highs in the sound, but will light up when pushed correctly. This horn is in perfect condition and still has the blue plasic on the slide end crook. The slide is super straight, is about as good as a slide gets and will not disappoint.
