Shires Custom Series Standard Tenor Rotor Valve Section. Pre-owned, in really nice condition, minimal lacquer wear, never damaged or bent, perfect valve action, player proper, and has a Shires mounted adjustable thumb bar for comfort fit. The thumb bar is Standard on a Shires bass trombone these days. When it was first new, players liked it so much on their bass that they started asking for it with their tenor valve sections. We have put thumb bars on quite a few horns for players over the years and I was always concerned about losing the serial number if not done right. This section has an 8000 SN and is stamped clean. It's authentic.
