Bach 16LTS Corporation Era 1970's Make, SN 17730, This is the predecessor to the 16M model.  Is the first 16S that we have seen at The Brass Exchange.  The "S" is stamped on the back of the lower outer cork barrel, below the "16" stamp.  This is the model that Bill Watrous popularized in the 1970's and 80's.  Has 7.5" Yellow Brass Bell.  Straight Bore .508 lightweight nickel silver slide.  Includes original French Style case in excellent condition.  We did full shop service here including chemical bath and complete once over.  No dents or dings.  Is all original parts and lacquer. The LT nickel slide is super straight and everything that you would expect in a Bach LT slide from the 1970's.  No inner tube plating wear, is incredibly fast and easy to play.  Personally, I played this exact model for over 25 years.  This is a great one.  Perfect for Jazz, Lead, Commercial Style music.  Would even fit well into an orchestra setting where something a little smaller than .547 is a better choice.  Any advancing Jazz student would do really well on this horn.  A current model 16 made today sells for over $3600 Factory new.  We like this one better.
