Late Holton TR180 Silverplate 70's, one owner closet kept bass trombone. Original linkage design in 100% working order, plays proper. Is the glantz bar model. You move your thumb over to the center-left to pull both valves. Was a revolutionary model in its day. Is still played on by pro players today. Has Eb tuning in first. logical slide position placement all the way down to seventh with both valves. Excellent choice for anyone looking to learn to play bass on a proper instrument. Some players like to split the valves and add a D slide. It actually works really nice when converted properly. We did the basic clean-up with chemical bath here, ragged silver polished. It's nice. Handslide is also in original undamaged condition. Is free of dents or dings, no plating loss on inner tubes. It's a good slide. Is large bell 10" silver plated, is gorgeous, never damaged. We think that any Holton player will feel comfortable on this horn. Excellent choice for experienced Holton player or for anyone looking to get started on something good.
