King 3B Trombone Made in Eastlake Ohio, SN 459312, Vintage Make 1970. This was made prior to the sale of the company when it became King Musical instruments in the later 1970's. The earlier models started in the 1950's when King was still owned by H.N. White. King players recognize 3B's from the 50's, 60's, and 70's as the most desirable era. Has the classic 8" yellow brass bell, .508 bore nickel silver slide, original coffin style case. We did full shop service here, has had chemical bath and once over. Is a super straight horn without any issues. Has all original parts and lacquer. Handslide is excellent and will not disappoint. The King 3B has been regarded by instrument makers as the best selling Jazz trombone since the 1950's. Once you play one of these, you quickly understand why it has been so popular. Would be an excellent 3B for any advancing jazz player looking for that "sweet" King sound, like J.J. Johnson. Mouthpiece not included.
