King 3B Silversonic Made in the mid 1970's SN 578221. Seriously great playing 3B Silversonic. Sterling Silver Bell with gold plate inner. Standard 3B .508 nickel silver slide with yellow brass end crook. We did full shop service here including chemical bath and full once over. Hand slide is excellent, no inner tube plating defects, super straight tubes, quick and smooth action. The 8" sterling silver bell on this 3B seems a little lighter than some of the others- meaning that it plays more free than others, and is very easy to get around on. This would be a fantastic jazz horn for any pro player or advancing student looking for that 3B sound. We have had at least 100 Silversonics here over the years, this is one of the best players yet. No service needs to improve playability. Has an early make case from the 1960's black/silver coffin style. King still makes a replica of this classic model today with a selling price of over $4700. We think the older ones were made better and also play better. This one will not disappoint.
