Bach 42BLT Large Bore Tenor Trombone, SN 73431, Made in the mid 1980's. Classic 42B with Lighweight nickel silver slide. Has 8.5" Yellow Brass Bell, .547 bore slide for large shank mouthpiece. Single owner instrument. We did full shop service including chemical bath and once over. Valve and slide are excellent. Simply a really nice horn with excellent original lacquer, was made in Elkhart, IN. Ideal for all around tenor use, band, orchestra, chamber, quintets, choir, solo. Would be a prefect first pro level tenor for any advancing player. Band directors and lesson teachers willl approve. This model exactly like the one that I purchased in the late 1970's, it sure brings back memories, easy to play, gorgeous Bach overtones. No additional service required to improve playability. The original case is available but has a broken handle, includes either original Bach plywood case or the Protec Propac pictured. A new 42BLT Today sells for over $4100, with an additional upcharge for the LT nickel slide. We think the ones from the 1960's-90's were better quality, better materials. This is one of the good ones. Will not disappoint.
