Conn 48H SN 655516 Made in 1957. The model was introduced in 1956 and is professional level all the way, especially to today's standards. This is about the earliest one that we have seen over the past 14 years. Is similar in specs to the classic 6H Rosolino Model. Has 8" Bell, Nickel plated over brass, then copper, Unsoldered Rim. Has .500 bore gold brass slide with nickel end crook. All original parts and lacquer. Never any damage. Not only is this the earliest one we have seen but also the nicest one. Handslide is fantastic, no inner tube plating wear, super straight tubes, and superior alignment. Serious trombone players know that it is all about the slide. This one will not disappoint. Would be an amazing jazz improvisers horn, but works great for lead too. Includes original case and mouthpiece.
