Customized Olds Small Bore Tenor. Craftsman in California did all of the custom mods on this small bore tenor. First, the bell is from and older vintage horn, has 7" gold brass flare. Second, the f wrap is custom made to the instrument. The bracing and handside are from a dual bore ambassador, includes finger wring, ideal for players with smaller hands. This would be an excellent horn for a trad jazz player looking to play something small with an F attachment. Or, would be a great choice for a young player just starting out, looking to depart from the typical student horns available today. Especially a young player not able to reach 6th and 7th position- makes sense to just learn with an f attachment. Includes an excellent condition first generation protec black nylon hard case.
