Conn 48H Connstellation model made in Elkhart Indiana, SN L36587, 1960's make. Has had full shop service including chemical bath and once over. It is a straight horn that plays good. Considerable lacquer wear on slide, some smooth plating loss on one slide tube inner, and reflected in price. Super mint 48H's sell for considerably more. This would be an excellent choice for any player looking for a .500 bore, American Made classic, but wanting to stay under $1000. Would also be a great pro level trombone for an advanced player in marching band. We like either silver or red brass horns for marching, especially when all the other guys are playing yellow brass. It makes it a lot easier to spot your favorite trombone player in the line up when you are at a parade or sitting in the stands. The bell section is also compatible with other Conn Slides- Such as 6H or 77H, even Director model, which gives you options, especially Conn collectors. Comes with an old style protec case, lightweight, black nylon. In stock for immediate delivery.
