Conn 48H Vintage Elkhart made in 1968 SN L11604. Very nice .500 bore jazz- commercial style. Has 8" nickel silver bell and lightweight brass slide. All original parts and lacquer. Fantastic slide, no inner slide tube plating wear. Very straight tubes and superior alignment. Has had full shop service including once over and chemical bath. Very similar in playability to a Conn 6H, but just has a little less high frequency in the overtones, or a bit darker than a standard yellow brass bell. This one is a very good player. No plating loss on inner slide tubes. Some lacquer wear over the entire instrument yet still very attractive appearance. In Stock for immediate delivery.
