King 2B Silvertone H.N. White Era, Cleveland, OH, Made in the late 1930's SN 206356. Every once in a while, we are fortunate and one of these amazing 2B Silvertones becomes available. This is the real McCoy. All original parts, sterling silver bell, the rest of the instrument is original silver plated. Has original gold wash inner bell, and gold leaf engraving. This horn has been pro player owned. Has also had a pro slide set-up. You can't get a better slide on a 2B than this, straight as an arrow, no inner slide tube defects. This type of horn is a commercial-lead players dream. To put price into perspective: King makes replicas of Silvertones and Silversonics today and they retail in the $5000 range. Sterling silver bells not only look amazing but play with a tremendous amount of energy out front. This means that the horn will be able to take whatever you can give it without out getting into the ugly sound zone. Perfect for Jazz Band, Rock, Funk, or just about anything where you need to play loud and cut over the rest of the ensemble. This instrument has matching serial numbers in four places: Outer side, slide cork barrel, neck receiver, and tuning slide. Includes Original Case and King M21 Mouthpiece.
