S.E. Shires TYX Tuning Demo Model

S.E. Shires Tenor Tuning Slide TYX.  Custom Series, yellow brass with X taper.  This is the preferred tenor tuning slide for Type II bells, Vintage NY model, or the Chicago Model.  However, some players like to use it with Type I bells also.  The main difference between this and the standard TY taper is the rate of taper from the large tube side to small tube side in the crook.  The X is a more rapid taper vs.  TY which is more gradual.  Players that use this model on TII bells report that it makes the bell come alive and adds just a little more magic to the sound.  This one is a demo model and is in-stock for immediate delivery.
