Conn 12H Vintage Elkhart Early 1950's Make. Very mint condition. All original parts/lacquer, except maybe the balance weight. It may have been sold originally without a balance weight, or someone removed the original. Either way, this is a fine 12H in perfect playing condition. Has Coprion 7" bell, standard weight .485 bore slide without defect. The slide actually feels quite loose and super straight tubes. This one is a joy to play. The copper bells play darker than yellow brass, less highs in the overtones. But, it's not a one dimensional sound. It is complex. These horns will sizzle with the right air stream. Conn collectors: If you have been looking for one of these, don't hesitate. This about as nice as they get. Original case, ok condition, original mouthpiece. This would be a great horn today for many different settings including lead trombone, trad jazz, bebop. No service needs to improve playability. In-stock for immediate delivery.
