Bach 36 Straight tenor, not used much in perfect condition. This is the classic 36 with 8" yellow brass bell and standard weight yellow brass .525 handslide for small shank mouthpiece. Vincent Bach was known to say that he felt that the 36 was the ideal all around size tenor for orchestra and band. We know that a lot has changed over the years and orchestra guys and college professors have gone to bigger equipment. But if you are looking for a easy playing all around straight tenor, it is hard to beat a 36. I personally know of quite a few pro orchestra guys that use .525 bores all the time, especially for some of the contemporary programming. Many Jazz and commerical style players are using them too. This Bach 36 is in perfect condition, probably 5-8 years old, but not used heavily. No service needs to improve playability. Gorgeous case in excellent condition.
