Bach

Bach 42BO Large Bore Tenor.  Slightly used, single owner.  Not played on much and is in perfect condition.  Has 8.5" yellow brass bell with silverplating on entire bell section and wrap.  Handslide is also silver plated, standard weight yellow brass ,547 bore.  This model is exactly like the standard yellow brass lacquer model except it is silver plated.  This is not a solid silver bell, is brass with silver plating.  Here is why:  Silver plating has approximately 1/5th the weight of traditional lacquer.  This means that the horn plays lighter, more lively, than a heavier lacquered model with the exact same specs.  Other brass players have known this for years- trumpet, horn, euphonium.  Silver plated horns are as close to playing unlaquered as you can get, plus they look great too.  This one plays perfectly, has a great slide, and is without flaw.  Factory case, and original mouthpiece included.  Special order Bach 42BO with silver plate sells new today for over $4100.  In-stock for immediate delivery.
