Trombones made by Vincent Bach in the Early 1980's were excellent instruments. This 36B is a Single owner horn, well cared for, maintained, never damaged. Has had full shop service here including chemical bath. Handslide is very good and plays like a dream. Has 8" yellow brass bell and is .525 bore. Vincent Bach felt that the 36B was the ideal size trombone for orchestra and band. It's bigger than a small bore, but not quite as big as a large more, that's right, is a medium bore size. Perfect for anyone looking to play something a little smaller than full .547. Many pro orchestra guys are using .525's these days with the demands of contemporary programming. It's nice to have the option to play something a little smaller. All original parts and lacquer. Still a good looking horn, some outer slide lacquer loss, but not too bad. will not dissapoint.
