New York Era Bach 6 Small bore tenor. Made prior to the move to Mt. Vernon NY. This is an original New York Bach. Serial number 2305 made around 1943. Original Silver Plate. Must have been a special order at the time. If you were a big band player back then and went on the road with the Glen Miller Orchestra, Mr. Miller would want you to play this model. It was the sound of the period. But, it is still a great sound today. Small bore with 7" bell, standard weight slide, plays with lots of center and color. Perfect lead or solo instrument. Has had full shop service with chemical bath and once over. Handslide is with slide guru for full pro set-up, will be ready for delivery. No issues, no dents or dings, some silver plating loss on parts of the bell, but not bad. Inner slide tube are super straight and without plating defect. Is a great horn.
