Bach 16 Vintage Elkhart Corporation Era, made in 1965. S/N 8332. After moving from Mt. Vernon NY in 1963, Bach set up the factory in Elkhart Indiana. The first few years of production are considered by many Bach experts to be some of the best years in the history of the company. This model 16 is from that era. Has the dual bore slide, this one is lightweight brass, no oversleeves. Is in excellent condition and plays fantastic. The instrument was refinished at some point in it's history, done exceptionally well too. Looks terrific and plays fantastic, all original parts. There is a brass patch on the endcrook, handslide. This horn does not have red rot or any issues. Would be a great horn for a pro player or any advancing player look to play on something very nice. Great horn for lead/jazz/solo/studio.
