Yamaha YSL-6430 Straight Large Bore Rare Medium Bore .525 with 8.5" Yellow Brass Bell. Yamaha players know that there have been a lot of different model trombones with variations over the years. Prior to the 800 Series Xeno, a 600 series was the top of the line pro model Yamaha. This one is unique becasue it has the 8.5" yellow brass bell. You can play a lot of different styles of music on this horn. It's big enough for some orchestra use. Definitely good for Pit orchestra, concert band. But, also a great salsa or Jazz horn. You will get a bigger sound with the .525 than smaller models, and the extra bell width adds color and just a little more splash when played properly. All original lacquer, some wear spots, some discoloration on slide endcrook where lacqer is worn. But, the slide tubes are straight and without defect.
