Besson Compensation Euphonium Made around 1972-73. This is a single owner horn that has been closet kept for many years. It is an early compensating model which takes Euro Shank Trombone Mouthpiece, Original Mouthpiece included. You could also use a small shank trombone mouthpiece with Euro adapter if you prefer. The Euro shank is in between small shank and large shank trombone mouthpiece. It actually plays fantastic with the original MP, and there is something to be said and learned from manufacturers when you play their recommended MP. This horn has had full shop service, chemical bath, pads, felts, water keys. All slides have been gone over and pull easily. Valves are in excellent shape, no leaks or compression problems. Has all original lacquer, a few minor blemishes that are in very difficult places to take out. Has never had any serious damage or repairs, it's simply a great playing instrument. This Euphonium has the original Alligator Skin case, also in near perfect condition. This would be an excellent choice for anyone looking to play on a classic Euphonium.
