Bach 6 VII Vintage New York era, made around 1946-47. The big band era was in full swing, yes. This is the model that Glenn Miller had his section playing on, and so were many other top players. It has a 7" yellow brass bell, with standard weight yellow brass handslide .485 bore. The model 6 is a fantastic lead and solo horn, ideal for big band, traditional jazz, New Orleans Style, ect. Has had lacquer removed. All original parts. No signs of previous damage or repair. Original slide tubes without defect. Includes older style protec case. In-stock for immediate delivery.
