Bach Mercedes, Early Corporation Era Made, 1960's. This is a .508 bore tenor with F attachment. Is similar in size to the model 16, has a straight bore .508 slide. The Mercedes model was never marketed as the top pro level Bach trombone. But, this horn really plays terrific. Is all orignal parts and lacquer. Has had full shop service with chemcial bath and once over. Handslide is super straight and is without defect on the inner tube surface. This would be an excellent first trigger horn for a young player not quite ready for a full .547 tenor. Would also be a fantastic horn for a beginner or come back adult player. Takes small shank mouthpiec. I like it with a 6.5AL. Plays easy and gorgeous sound. Original case. In-stock for immediate delivery.
