Conn 88H Vintage 1972. This is an Abilene TX make, early 70's. They were still using Elkhart parts at the Abilene Conn factory. A good horn is a good horn. The Abilene 88 is the same as the Elkhart, same bell, same specs, even the same leadpipe, and springs in first position. This one is nice and has had shop service, minor lacquer wear. Has a small ding on the nickel silver crook, handslide. These are very difficult to get out. Inner slide tubes are very good, a small spot of smooth wear on one inner all the way at the end, not worn all the way through. It's still a great slide. This one plays really nice. Would be an excellent first pro level horn for anyone looking to play vintage Conn. Original case, good condition. In-stock for immeditate delivery.
