Bach

Bach 36B Mount Vernon New York Era, Early 1960's.  This is the classic 36B which the 42B is based upon.  Has .525 bore size, with 8" yellow brass bell, traditional wrap rotor.  Has original lacquer with lots of freckles.  Has had full shop service with chemical bath and pro slide set-up.  You can't get a better vintage 36 slide.  The horn plays terrific. It has seriors sound qualities, like you feel emotions when you play it.  This is  a really good one.  It is too bad that the lacquer is not better.  There are no major areas of de-zyncification where there is structural concern.  The horn is totally straight and really plays.  Valve works perfectly and has been serviced.  No dents or dings, just lacquer wear.  We could have stripped it down, buffed it out, but then it wouldn't be original any more.  Playing this type of instrument is not about appearance, but is about sound.  This one has it.  Original case included, but has 2 broken latches.  You probalby won't want to use the case, but will be protective for shipping.  In-stock for immediate delivery.
