Kanstul 760 Medium Bore Tenor Open Wrap Model. Has 8" yellow brass bell and lightweight dual bore handslide .500-.530. Is in near new condition and has been serviced. No dents or dings, minimal signs of use. Kanstul was a legendary instrument maker in California, but after Zig Kanstuls passing a few years ago, the company didn't survive. He made wonderful instruments. No doubt that the influx of overseas made marching band instruments put the hurt on this fine American company, then it's demise. However, the fact that Kanstul is no longer around today doesn't take aways from the quality or playability of their instruments. This would be an excellent first trigger horn for an advancing student. Perfect for a middle schooler. Valve plays very open, and slide is super straight, plays perfectly. This model takes a standard small shank mouthpiece. Comes with a new protec case with back pack straps. The suggested retail price for this model in 2019 was $2385. In-stock for immediate delivery.
