Conn 88H Ekhart Era Vintage 1969 S/N M57904. Fantastic playing 88H.  The thing with 88H's is that they are great horns. Serious Players that own them love them and take care of them. This one is in mint condition, never any damgage or repairs.  All original lacquer and parts.  Has had full shop service with chemical bath, rotor serviced, slide adjusted.   I tested it out using a Remington shank Bach 4GB and it was everything that I hoped for. Plays dark and easy, gorgeous sound.   The handslide is really good, in fact perfect and is without any inner slide defect.  There isn't even typical lacquer wear around the hand grip area.  That's becuase this horn has been taken care of well. Anyone looking for a classic Elkhart 88 will love playing this horn.  The original case is in great shape as well.  It even has a sort of tattoo, a jazz festival stenciling.  We have had a lot of 88H's here over the years and this is about as good as it gets.  When you look at pricing on new 88H's today by Conn-Selmer, current MAP pricing is $2900, and the horns made today are replicas of this 88H from 1969.  The real thing.  In-stock for immediate delivery.
