S.E. Shires Tenor Large Bore Straight Rose Brass. Slightly used instrument. This is a full .547 with the following components: Bell Section is 1RVET7 which is similar to the 2RVE Vintage Elkhart model, Rose Brass with 8.5" Bell Flare with special flare thinning T7 treatment. The only difference is the soldered rim on this model vs. the 2RVE unsoldered. Standard yellow brass tuning slide, removable straight neck pipe, QTW47 handslide with removable leadpipe. The Bell section is in perfect condition, no prior damage or repairs. Handsllide has had a pro set-up here and is better than factory new, super straight tubes and super fast. Our guy can set them up perfectly with no drag or tension. You would never know it was off of a Q when you play it. Is as good as they get. Horn plays dark with lots of tonal flexibility.
