Bach 36 Mount Vernon NY from the late 1950's S/N 5237. All original parts & lacquer. Has the classic 8" yellow brass bell and standard .525. Amazing medium bore. This one really plays. The bell is lighter than the later years make. This handslide is totally straight and very smooth. Original inner slide tubes 100% plating no wear, original fixed leadpipe. No slide work needed, about as good as it gets on a vintage trombone. When you look at the color difference between the endcrook and the outer slide tubes, it appears that there is a hint of gold brass in the outer slide. This is probably why it plays so warm. Would be an amazing horn for any player, pro level, collectors. Would be an amazing Jazz horn for someone looking to sound bigger that smaller models. Would also be great for Orchestra use where the full .547 tenor isn't the best choice. Original case also in excellent condition. We will have the shop give it a chemical bath and once over prior to delivery. Mouthpiece not included.
