Conn 6H Vintage 1965 Elkhart era. Another gorgeous playing 6H. All original parts, lacquer, never any damage or repairs. Handslide has had pro set-up. Inner slide tubes are flawless, no chrome wear. The Conn Yellow Brass 8" Bell Flare with unsoldered bead wire, combined with the .500 bore gold brass handslide is an amazing combination. You can spend 3-4K on a boutique make horn today, and it is questionable as to how it will compare to a classic 6H. The problem with great 6H's is that you just can't get them easily anymore. Even if Conn started making them again, they wouldn't compare, because the alloy, solder, tubes, craftsmanship, is all different. This one has been played some, but not a lot, easy to tell from the typical wear areas, like hand grip. Original case and mouthpiece also in excellent condition. Play Vintage!
