Conn 6H Vintage 1958. This is an amazing .500 bore tenor. Has 8" Yellow brass bell, unsoldered rim, with Gold Brass .500 Bore Handslide. This is the same model that Frank Rosolino used for most of his career. There are many second hand 6H's out there still being used today, but seldom do we see one that is all original in this conditiion. It's very straight, no signs of damage or major repairs. Handslide is perfect 10/10, Chrome plating on inner slide is 100%, no room to improve this horn. You can buy a boutique trombone today for more than 2x's the price and none of them will play as good as this classic 6H. What makes a 6H so great? Trombones made in the 1950's & 60's in Elkhart Indiana were made with superior quality alloy and assembled by craftsman who spent their entire lives dedicated to the craft.
