Mt. Vernon NY Bach Strad 36 with BrassLabb O.E. Thayer valve system. The original model 36 from Mt. Vernon 1953-1863 est. Has been maintained and plays like a dream come true for the 36 guy. Slide is as good as a slide can be and was just treated with full set-up. . Valve section plays fantasic, yet raw brass mostly. The valve is not oversized for the horn. Here is why, if you decide to play it small you will not be in the vlave much. If you play it big and low you could opt for a larger size mouthpiece and fill the vlave like any tenor today. The vlave is sized perfectly for the horn. The slide is long but does not come out more than an inch to play nearly everything. Lacquer on bell section easily 90%, missing areas include conversion to this vlave set-up. Never a crease or damage to the bell itself. All original Lacquer. You will not likely see one like this again in the near future. Can get full chemical bath upon request. This horn was separated from it's original case long ago. Will include case that we have on site, along with shipping. Multiple choices available. Please Call.
