Reynolds Custom Small Bore from Late 1940's. This model was introduced during the peak of the Big Band era. This one is super mint and very luxorious. Has 7.5" Sterling Silver Bell, with gold inlay engraving. When Reynolds left H.N. White he took with him the engraver that did all of the custom engraving for H.N. White, King. This is without question the nicest engraving that we have seen on previous small bores. Has .500 bore handsldie, with sterling silver cork barrels and braces. Horn is in perfect playing condition, handslide is excellent and without flaw. Plays with lots of vibrance and a crystal clear centered sound, especially in the upper range. Comes with original coffin case. Super collecctible today, but also a seriously great player. Would be a great lead/jazz/solo/artist trombone today.
