Conn 6H from 1968, Elkhart era. One of the last few years of the Elkhart era, up to 1970, the best horns ever assembled, this is one of them. Has seen quite a bit of use with a proven track record. One repair made between the neckpipe and bell stem to the cross brace. the handslide is fantastic, and has serious potential. Chrome inners are 100%. Inners and outers are totally straight. all original parts & leadpipe. Tuning slide was relacquered. This is one of the best playing 6H's we have seen. Intonation in the upper register is quick and easy. Would make an excellent lead or solo horn for a Jazz improv guy. Rosolino could have played any make model that he wanted.
