Bach 36B "Corporation" Era, from late 1970's. Rare silver plated model. Is in excellent playing conditon. No signs of damage or previous repairs. Overall beautiful appearance. Valve is fast and quiet. Handslide is quick and smooth. Has 8" bell, and standard weight Bach 36 slide, despite the silver plating. Many trombone players prefer lacquer over yellow brass. But, we know that silver plating is much lighter in weight and is closer to unlacquerd than standard lacquer used today. In general silver plated instruments cost more than lacquered ones. Would make an excellent all around medium bore tenor for any player. If you could only have one trombone for every ensemble that you were to play in, this would be the best pick. A new 36B sells new today for over $3400 and is advertised with a 4-6 week delivery. This one is available immediately, is a classic "Corporation" era, and less than 1/2 the price. No service needed to improve playability. Non-orginal Bach case included, mouthpiece not included. Save now, play great!
