Single Owner- played professionally for a few years in the mid 60's with Coast Guard Band, then taken back to the factory in '68 for a complete factory overhaul, Abilene, TX. Has been kept in a closet since. Has 10" Bronze Alloy Bell, .565 Bass bore, single rotary valve. Has quick easy response in all registers. Low D's, Db's, C's pop out easily with brilliance. Would make an excellent commercial style- big band bass for tenor player that occasional doubles, or the casual bass player not wanting the heavy weight of a modern in-line system. By far the best condition Contempora Bass that we have seen. Works well with any modern make standard large shank bass mouthpiece. Valve is quiet and smooth. Slide action is excellent, freshly set-up. Original case included.
