Yamaha YSL-644OII Medium Bore .525 Tenor SN 001294. Has 8.5" Bell, which is the same as full .547 bore tenors. This is a perfect size horn for anyone looking to play a trigger horn, middle school, high school, old timers (like me). Is the one that I usually recommend for younger players looking to move up from a beginner horn, but not wanting a full .547 bore. A lot of kids just aren't ready for the full large tenor because they haven't developed yet. This is the type of horn that they take too immediately. It looks just like a big horn but takes a standard small shank mouthpiece. We did full shop service here including chemical bath and once over. Hand slide is without any inner plating defects. Some outer lacquer wear, but the bell has never been damaged or creased. Includes original case and mouthpiece. Case is in good condition except the top handle on the case needs to be replaced, but he main handle is fine. Will not disappoint at this price level. A standard 400 series Yamaha sells new today in the $2300-2400 range. The 600 series sells new in the $2700-2800 range. Save Now!
