Yamaha Bass Trombone, Model 622G.  This is the original Doug Yeo model. You can tell from looking at the pictures that this instrument has been used quite a bit.  The good news is that it just had a once over and chemical bath, no dents or dings, perfectly straight, previous bell flare work, plays proper.  Actually, it plays very proper, quite resonate and open feeling, as one would expect in this model.  We have had multiple 622’s over the years and know the difference in playability.  This one is good.  The slide is great.  You will not need to have it worked on.   Has 9.5" one piece gold brass bell.  Dual dependent rotary valves.  the second valve is removable to convert to single valve bass when extra weight is not desired.  Has "D" tuning slide plus an additional second valve tuning slide, much longer, not for the exact model but fits perfectly is also included.   is  a super nice bass trombone that has seen very little use in its life.  The slide is excellent.  Overall, it plays fantastic.   There is evidence of a minimally noticeable crease on the flare that had been removed.  But, only effect was lacquer loss is straight and is right now.  It plays very open, quite dark sound.  Is really a joy to perform on this bass.  Original case, with keys for the locks included.  The current model Xeno, Doug Yeo sells new today for $4700. But to put things into perspective, an new detachable valve section only made new today sells for over 3K.  Save Now, Play Great!!! Fresh set of lubricants for valve, linkage, and slide included.  Mouthpiece could be included if we know what you are looking for.
