Yamaha YSL-643 Large Bore Tenor

Yamaha YSL-643 Rose Brass. This is a discontinued Yamaha model from the 1980’s-90’s period which is based on the Conn 88H.  Has 8.5” rose brass bell, lightweight nickel silver .547 bore handslide for large shank mouthpiece.  This is a very nice paying lightweight horn.  Bell has never been creased or damaged.  Has had full shop service including chemical bath and once over.  Valve works perfectly, no issues.  Handslide is very loose with exceptionally straight tubes.  Plays with lots of clarity and color.  Would be an excellent first pro level tenor for an advancing student.  These horns are made very well and can last a very long time.   Comes with a non-original Protec Case.  In-stock for immediate delivery.
