Yamaha YSL-456G Intermediate Model Medium Bore Trombone SN 689868. This horn appears to not have used at all, possibly new old stock, came to us from our wholesaler in Japan. Has an upgraded light weight case. Has 8" Gold brass bell, Handslide is for small shank mouthpiece and is dual bore .500-.525. I went over the slide and made it super fast and smooth. It will not disappoint. This is an ideal step up trombone for an advancing student. Or possibly, could be a starter horn for a middle school age player. It is nice to have the F-attachment. It sure makes 6th & 7th position a lot easier, especially smaller people with less arm length. I wish that I would have had one like this when I was a kid. But, they weren't available yet back in 1973 when we started. This horn has a great sound and is easy to play. Plays warm with the gold brass bell. Will not disappoint.
