Yamaha YSL-448G Intermediate Large Bore Tenor Trombone SN 656120. Pre-owned intermediate "step-up" model trombone. The term "step-up" was coined many years ago by band directors and music stores, which means it is a logical next horn for a student to advance to after playing a beginner/starter horn for the first few years. Has full symphonic specs with 8.5" gold brass bell and .547 bore handslide. Traditional rotor. Takes large shank mouthpiece, and like new Schilke mouthpiece is included. Is a single owner horn, played on in High School for a couple years. We did full shop service here including chemical bath. Has gorgeous lacquer and very nice slide and rotor. We removed a small ripple in the lower valve port/knuckle. It is fine now and plays proper. Is a current Yamaha Model and sells new today in the $2400+ range. No issues with the way this horn plays, would be an excellent next level horn for any young player.
