This instrument is in very good playing condition and does not require a service tech to improve playability. It is clean, without dents or prior damage. The handslide is very good and has a removable threaded leadpipe- which is a modification that the previous professional orchestra player added. The bell section is in excellent shape, minimal lacquer wear. The handslide is pro player ready, no inner slide defects, very straight tubes and superior alignment. On the outer slide there is some lacquer loss on a few unusual areas, like the center of the slide and at the lower 1/3 of the outer- it's hard to know why lacquer loss occurred in these area, as the horn has never been damaged.
