Professional Yamaha Trombone Xeno Model YSL-882. Pre-owned Large bore tenor .547 with 8.5" Xeno Bell, Traditional Rotor, .547 Bore wide slide. Is very similar to the YSL-882O Xeno model that sells new today for over $3900. The primary difference is the valve wrap. This is the traditional wrap. The F tuning slide does not extend past the main tuning slide, which makes it a more compact instrument, perfect for tight band set-ups where there isn't much room behind you. But, even if it is not a tight band set up space, it is still nice to play on a Xeno valve regardless of traditional vs. Open wrap. For students that are moving up to a large tenor from a starter horn without F attachment this is a great choice. Open wrap vs. Trad wrap is not an issue in my opinion for younger players that have yet to develop as players. The valve wrap will not make them play better. This is a very sensible choice for any player not looking to move up to a $3900 purchase. Has had full shop service here, including chemical bath and one over. No dents or dings. Handslide is very good and plays proper. Some fading and lacquer wear on bell, but still looks pretty good. Includes Yamaha Professional Xeno flight case. Mouthpiece also included. Save Now!
