Is the flag ship independent Bb/F/Gb/D Rose Brass 9.5" bell model with standard weight straight .562 bore hand slide. Includes all three original leadpipes. Excellent slide action, perfectly straight tubes, no defects or alignment needs. No cleaning needs. Plays like a dream. Gorgeous dark rose brass sound, from low Eb down it can roar like thunder. True pitches which center quickly. Is a joy to play.
Has quite a few gold plated parts. Evidently, gold plating is more corrosion resistant than plain lacquered finish, which means it will stay looking great for a long time, and it feels good to handle. XO went all out on this current model which sells new MAP pricing for over 5K. We searched and found a dealer selling a demo for $3799. Ours is priced at $3595. We think that it is better than just a demo, because it is ready to play without any service needs or hassles. Pro player used. Plus, it feels great to play with a gorgeous sound.
