Vintage Olds Recording Small Bore Tenor Trombone. These are special instruments. Excellent build quality, superior craftsmanship, high quality vintage alloy. This one has an 8" rose brass bell, dual bore fluted handslide. This handslide is perfect, the inners are 100%, no plating defect. Overall it is a very well preserved instrument. Gorgeous lacquer on rose brass bell, with lots nickel accents, neck, tuning slide, handslide. Crisp engraving, quite stunning. Has had full shop service with chemical bath, never and damage or repairs. Case is also in perfect condtion. The mouthpiece picutured is an Olds #3 which is what they sold with the horn new from the factory. This one is not the original and has some wear, but at least it is the right one.
