Shires STBA30 Student-Intermediate .500 bore trombone. Is factory new, in stock here. Has 8" Yellow brass bell, soldered rim, .500 bore nickel silver hand slide. Is not a removable lead pipe model, you just play it the way it is. We did quite a bit of play testing here and can't find anything we don't like at this price point for a new high end student trombone. Is definitely way better than other comparable models from other manufacturers. Is quite sturdy and not overly light weight. The bell gauge seems to be a little thicker and more weighty than the Q33 .508 model, which also has 8" bell. The build quality on this model excellent, heavy duty inner slide tubes which are super straight with excellent alignment. Is the type of horn that a young player could really learn how to play well on. Would be excellent for all around use, band, jazz band. Includes mouthpiece, lubricant, and compact hard shell case. Very easy for a younger player to handle. This model will not disappoint.
