S.E. Shires Custom Series Bass Trombone, Artist Model Blair Bollinger, Pre-owned. Has 9.5" Yellow Brass Bell, Yellow Brass Tuning Slide, Independent Axial Flow Valve Section with Bb/F/Gb/D tuning. Bollinger alternate Gb valve slide for specific Bollinger tuning not included. This bass is traditional Tuning to Gb/D with second valve. Hand slide is the Bollinger dual bore .562-.578 yellow brass standard weight, yellow brass end crook, with Bollinger lead pipe receiver. One lead pipe is included. No dents or dings, nor any prior damage. We did full shop service here with chemical bath and complete once over. Is all original parts and lacquer except at the upper slide on the nickel silver cork barrels, and bracing. The lacquer was worn here so we re-finished this area. Valve action and slide action is excellent on this horn. The valve section has after market hand crafted wood second valve paddle and first valve lever. Is very comfortable and quite ergonomic. While Bollinger is known for his work as an Orchestra player, this Bass Trombone is a great all around bass for anyone looking for a huge, dark, gorgeous sound.
