Shires Pre-owned Custom small bore trombone. Was made approximately 6 years ago. Single owner adult. Was originally ordered for one of our top customers. Super rare custom Bell 2GYLW8. Bell stem is gold brass, bell flare is yellow brass 8", the number 2 denotes un-soldered rim, in the style of vintage Conn trombones. This horn is like a Conn 6H in specs, has .500 bore gold brass standard weight slide. Includes one removable leadpipe and a Cronkhite 2 piece travel gig bag, black. Any players that have played fondly on Vintage Conn trombones will take to this model instantly. The gold/yellow two tone bell has a complex sound with rich overtones, unlike any of the the other models that we have seen here over the years. The handslide is fantastic and will not disappoint. All original lacquer, minor lacquer wear on one outer slide tube, but not bad. Has not had an prior damage or repairs, is super nice. Would be a perfect Shires Pro Level Jazz Trombone for a serious player.
