Shires Tenor Bell Section Pre-owned model SSY.  This is a Boston Make Custom Series Component.  Has 8.5" Yellow Brass Flare, has standard type 1 Shires Taper, with soldered rim, is medium weight.  Is very close to the 7YM model.  Is neither to light or heavy, quick response, plays super easy.  Would make a great all around bell for band/orchestra/small group.  Has had full shop service, no dents dings, or signs of previous damage or repair.  Lacquer is in overall excellent condition.  A new S.E.
